NovoTHOR® is a whole body red light therapy bed that uses red and near-infrared light to treat injuries, reduce pain, relax muscles/joints, and increase blood circulation.

The NovoTHOR bed is used to treat the whole body. This is used for treating different issues of the body. Perfect for treating acute and chronic pain and wound healing. The bed is biphasic, meaning there are 2 different wavelengths of laser. The 660nm is the visible red light we see and the 850nm is a near infra-red wavelength. The 660nm works more on a superficial depth and the 850nm is more deep penetrating. In some treatments, we may turn off the 850nm wavelength. This all depends what we are treating, example would be some skin issues. Both laser wavelengths are safe to the eyes because it is diffused.

With the NovoThor bed we are trying to promote repair at the cellular level. LLLT (low level light therapy) or PBM (photobiomodulation) therapy is providing an environment for stressed and damaged cells to renew and proliferate.

Relieve sources of pain:
Drugs cover pain up by interfering with chemical signals. NovoTHOR® actually treats the source of the pain, relieving muscular and joint pain.

Improve performance:
NovoTHOR® improves muscle performance, improving the effectiveness of your workout or helping you hit levels you've never reached before.

Stay on your feet:
Whether it's an injury or a workout, NovoTHOR® can redevelop muscles, relax them, and improve their blood flow, helping you get back on your feet, faster.

NovoTHOR® treats the whole body, from your head to your toes, all at once in less than 15 minutes. It's relaxing and will leave you feeling better than ever.

WHAT IS PHOTOBIOMODULATION THERAPY and why is it important for us.

PBM Therapy, previously known as Low Level Laser Therapy, is the application of red and near infrared light to tissue where there is degeneration or injury, to stimulate tissue regeneration, and reduce inflammation and pain. Many reactions to PBM Therapy is that it appears too good to be true as it does many things, but really it does just one thing and it does it very well. It reduces oxidative stress at the cellular level within the mitochondria (the cell often referred to our power house). Research has shown that Oxidative stress has been the underlying trigger for most diseases and degenerative conditions. However, it is also functions as a key component in the inflammatory phase of acute and chronic injuries.

In recent studies, pretreatment with photobiomodulation before exercise has also been clinically shown to increase ATP (our energy currency in our mitochondria), increase blood flow, as well as improve biomarkers for injury and inflammation (including reduced lactate, creatine kinase, and C Reactive Protein) after exercise contributing to more power, less fatigue and faster recovery.

Michael Hamblin, a Ph.D. states that the use of PBM Therapy "can provide such benefits as increased healing of chronic wounds, improvements in sports injuries..., pain reduction in arthritis and neuropathies…." He said in an interview that the "efficacy of such devices is now supported by at least 6000 peer-reviewed papers." "It is not only for pain and recovery, but it has major effects helping in training," Hamblin said. "If you use light therapy combined with a training regimen, the training is a lot more productive. You put on more muscle and can exert more work. Everything works better."

Unlike drugs and surgery, PBM Therapy promotes regeneration, reduces inflammation and pain, is non-toxic and non-invasive, and has no side effects.
